Volunteer Opportunities

Thanks for your interest in joining a team!

Here's a list of teams that serve at Son Valley with a little bit of information about how you could serve on them.
  • Hospitality: Greeters welcome people into our building and provide an atmosphere of acceptance and warmth by generally setting up our front entrance and coffee bar with warm drinks and goodies. They answer questions and assist our attenders as needed and collect our offerings.
  • Social Media: Our content creators gather pictures and videos of our church in worship and community together. They create engaging captions, stories and social media posts!
  • Kid's Classes: Help host our kids classes during our main worship service. We have two classes; Wee Tots - ages 0-6 and Bible Troopers - Ages 7-12. We provide a variety of resources and curriculum for you to put together lessons that teach our children about the love of Jesus.
  • Facilities: We need people to help ensure that our facilities are ready for each service. This would include some set-up and take-down before and after church. We are also looking for a leader for this team who could be the contact person as we build a group of volunteers.
  • Worship Music: If you sing or play an instrument, join one of our teams who lead us in engaging worship each week during our service. 
  • Production: Cameras, sound, lyrics, livestream, oh my! This team keeps our weekly in-person and online services going by putting all these elements together.
  • Special Events: Potlucks, birthdays, baptisms and more! Be part of helping set up, organize and celebrate for these different occasions.
  • Kid's Time: Share a fun, short kid's story during our service so our children can feel connected and cherished by our church.
